Each second aircraft in the Aeroflot fleet will be of Russian make by 2030

Each second aircraft in the fleet of the national carrier Aeroflot will be produced domestically by 2030, Minister of Industry Denis Manturov said on Wednesday.

"We plan that each second aircraft in the Aeroflot fleet will be of Russian make by 2030," the Minister said.

Already existing contracts for the MC-21 domestically produced aircraft make possible to utilize the capacity of the Irkut company by 2027, Manturov noted.
