China has not offered Russia to split markets for the sales of the prospective CR929 aircraft that the two states have agreed to jointly produce, the press service of the Russian United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) said Friday. This reported by UrduPoint.
Earlier on Friday, the Vedomosti newspaper reported that the project on the joint production of CR929 was jeopardized over China's proposal to single-handedly sell the aircraft on the Chinese market, while offering Russia to independently sell the plane on the Russian market and globally. According to the media, the UAC was considering the possibility to give up the partnership on the project.
"China has not offered Russia to divide sales on the CR929 project... The UAC does not consider the option of abandoning parity partnership and cost sharing under the CR929 program," the company said.
