Several tens of Special Forces groups parachuted from the Mi-8ATMSh Terminator helicopters and landed on an unfamiliar site in the foothills in Adygea within the final check for winter training period.
The troops landed with the use of the Arbalet-2 parachute systems from 1,200m-1,400m with 5 seconds delay before deploying parachute.
At the site the units are to practise some 20 control exercises in conditions closely resembling the real combat ones.
Troops have at least three days to fulfil the forced march and all the assigned missions.
The drills involved some 300 troops, over 70 pieces of armaments and military hardware.
