The Aviadarts 2019 qualifying round has kicked off at the airfields of the Eastern Military District in Buryatia, Transbaikalia, Primorye, Khabarovsk Territory and Kamchatka, as part of preparations for the International Army Games 2019.

The competition involves 78 pilots of formations and military units of army, fighter and bomber aircraft of the Eastern MD making up 42 teams.

The flight tactical missions will be carried out on Su-25SM attack aircraft, Su-35, Su-30SM fighters, Su-24 bombers, Su-34 fighters, Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopters, and Mi-8AMTSH Terminator combat transport helicopters.

Pilots are to cover more than a hundred kilometers, at a given time to get in touch with the control tower of the airfield, launch unguided missiles, bombing from various heights, as well as firing 30-mm aircraft cannons at ground targets simulating military equipment fleets, command posts and communication centers of the conditional enemy.
