The agreement to supply of the "over two dozen aircraft" and aviation aids will amount to $2 billion. The signing of the contract was carried out at the end of 2018 and the delivery of the aircraft will begin as early as 2020-2021.

The source noted that the contract "guarantees the capacity utilization of the aircraft manufacturer — Komsomolsk-on-Amur aircraft plant — for several years to come." At the same time, one of them stressed that the production capabilities of the plant line allow the company to easily produce in 2019-2020 about 20 more such machines for the needs of the Russian aerospace forces.
