Head of Russia's space corporation Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin has held a telephone conversation with NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine about the upcoming launch from the Baikonur spaceport.

"Today I had a telephone conversation with Jim Bridenstine. We discussed the upcoming launch from Baikonur and future bilateral contacts. The NASA administrator shared his delight over the approval of their funding request for the development of the Moon program," Rogozin wrote on his official Twitter account.

The next launch of the Soyuz MS-12 carrier rocket to the International Space Station (ISS) is planned for March 14. The carrier rocket will deliver Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksey Ovchinin and NASA astronauts Nick Hague and Christina Koch to the ISS. Ovchinin and Hague were supposed to fly to the ISS in October 2018. However, their flight was postponed due to an accident with the Soyuz-FG rocket carrier on October 11.
