The Mi-8ATMSh-V Terminator helicopters of the Novossibirsk army aviation regiment stationed in Central Military District have trained to cover a highland motorised rifle brigade during the drills near Kyzyl.

At the same time, when performing missions, the army aviation crews redeployed airborne units into the area to block illegal armed formations.

The exercise which lasts till February 8 involves some 1,000 troops and over 300 pieces of hardware.
