Vnukovo Airport is again recognized as the best within the category «International Airport» of the «Air Gates of Russia» award

For the second year in a row, Vnukovo Airport has become the best airport within the category «International Airport with passenger traffic of over 10 million passengers per year» of the national award «Air Gate of Russia». The awards were held within the frame of the VI National Aviation Infrastructure Forum and Show NAIS-2019. The Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Igor Levitin presented the award to the CEO of Vnukovo Airport Dmitry Saprykin. Besides, Mr. Saprykin also presented awards to the partner of Vnukovo Airport - Turkish Airlines, which became the best within the categories «Best business class among foreign airlines» and «Best economy class among foreign airlines». Another of Vnukovo's partner, AZUR air, received an award within the «International Charter Transportation» nomination.

At the exhibition dedicated to the development of infrastructure of airports, airfields, helipads and civil aviation of Russia and the CIS countries, Vnukovo Airport is represented at a joint stand with the base carriers - Utair Airlines and Turkish Airlines. The Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, Yevgeny Dietrich, visited the stand of Vnukovo Airport and asked some questions about the future development of the airport. Anton Kuznetsov, Deputy General Director for Commerce at Vnukovo International Airport, answered the Minister’s questions.

As part of NAIS were held various meetings and conferences. Thus, the Director of Information Technology at Vnukovo International Airport moderated the conference «Digital technologies in the aviation industry».

The VI National Aviation Infrastructure Forum and Show NAIS-2019 is held on February 6 and 7 in Moscow. More than 120 exhibitors from 15 countries take part in the exhibition.
