In January 2019, Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport welcomed 1,230,150 passengers, which is 14% more than in the same period of 2018.
Domestic traffic grew by 14.4% to 841,597 passengers compared to the same period of 2018. International traffic increased by 13.1% year-on-year and amounted to 388,553 passengers. In the first month of 2019, Pulkovo Airport handled 12,410 take-off and landing operations, which is an increase of 9.6% year-on-year.

In January 2019, Rossiya Airlines, Pobeda, Aeroflot, S7 Airlines, and Nordavia were the largest Russian carriers in terms of passenger numbers at Pulkovo. In total, they provided services to 794,641 passengers at St. Petersburg airport or 64.6% of the total traffic for that period.
Among foreign airlines, Uzbekistan Airways, Belavia, Lufthansa, Emirates, and Finnair became the leaders at St. Petersburg airport in January 2019. In total, they handled 87,614 passengers at Pulkovo or 7.1% of the total airport traffic.
