Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operators of the 41st Central MD combined-arms army in the Kemerovo region carried out a terrain reconnaissance in difficult weather conditions during the exercise, which ended in Western Siberia.
Under the tactical plan, using the Orlan-10, UAV specialists conducted a reconnaissance over forested areas, during which mock enemy camp was discovered. The performance of the combat training task was complicated by snow and gusty winds which reached up to 10 meters per second.
About 500 servicemen and more than 20 units of military and special equipment were involved in the exercise.
