In the IATA 2019/2020 winter season, Smartavia launched four new scheduled flights at Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport. The route network of the airline now includes Baku (Azerbaijan) and the Russian cities of Rostov-on-Don, Ufa and Izhevsk.
Smartavia flights from the northern capital of Russia are operated twice a week to Baku, thrice-weekly to Rostov-on-Don and Izhevsk, four times a week to Ufa.
In the current winter season, the airline also increases the frequency of flights from St. Petersburg to the Russian city of Samara.
The route network of Smartavia in the IATA 2019/2020 winter season includes 12 destinations at St. Petersburg airport. Among them: the Russian cities of Arkhangelsk, Voronezh, Izhevsk, Kazan, Murmansk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Syktyvkar, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, as well as foreign cities: Antalya (Turkey, charter) and Baku (Azerbaijan).
For the 10 months of 2019, Smartavia served 670 thousand passengers at Pulkovo Airport, which is 25,6% more than in the same period of 2018. In addition to direct flights to Pulkovo, the airline offers passengers many transfer options with convenient connections at St. Petersburg airport.
