As stated by the Chief of the Nuclear Risk Reduction Center Sergey Ryzhkov, in accordance with the Vienna Document 2011 on Confidence- and Security-Building Measures, the Russian evaluation team plans a visit to an envisaged area in Czech Republic on October 7-10.

The inspection is conducted in order to determine the scale of military activity within the envisaged area which is subject to notification or to identify the  absence of the military activity which is subject to notification.

The envisaged area will cover some 16 sq km.

During the event, Russian inspectors will visit training areas and grounds, briefing on military activity, formations or units located within the specified area.
