Airborne Troops servicemen during the joint Russian-Serbian tactical flight exercise "BARS-2019" captured the object of the mock enemy.
The paratroopers demonstrated the tactics of using "new type" units when practicing actions on descending devices (ropes).
The units of a separate airborne assault brigade, deployed in the Ulyanovsk region, were alerted, and then marched to the takeoff airfield "Vostochny" in Ulyanovsk, where the military transport aviation aircraft An-26 of the Russian Aerospace Forces were delivered to the place of the exercise.
As part of the exercise, the pilots of the two countries will perform flights as part of mixed crews, including landing of airborne troops. The exercise involves joint crews of the two countries on MiG-29SMT airplanes and Mi-8ATMSh helicopters.
In total, more than 10 units of aviation equipment of the Russian Aerospace Forces and a separate airborne assault brigade, deployed in the Ulyanovsk, are involved in the exercise.
