Soyuz MS-12 spacecraft crew safely returned to Earth

The Soyuz MS-12 spacecraft crew (call sign “Burlaks”) safely returned to Earth. The vehicle undocked from the International Space Station on October 3, 2019, at 07:37 UTC.

The reentry vehicle with Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexey Ovchinin, NASA astronaut Nick Hague and EP-19 UAEspaceflight participant HazzaaAlMansoori landed in the Kazakhstan steppe at 11:00 UTC. All the descent and landing operations went as expected under control of the Chief Operating Control Group of the Russian segment of the ISS at the Mission Control Center. The crew are in good health.

Alexey Ovchinin and Nick Hague spent 203 days in space, HazzaaAlMansoori – eight days. The Soyuz MS-12 spacecraft has been a part of the ISS since March 15, 2019. During the mission, the crew completed the applied scientific research and experimental program supported the station workability and performed its re-equipment with the hardware delivered by cargo vehicles.
