The S7 Group airlines summarized the results of their business processes for September 2019. Over the past month, the airlines carried 1,758,526 passengers, which is 10.4% more than in September 2018.

S7 Airlines flew 1,247,415 passengers within Russia, which is 13.6% more than in September 2018. Increase in international flights amounted to 3.3%. In September 2019, the airline flew 511,111 passengers on international flights.

Over the course of a month, passenger traffic increased by 13.7%, amounting to 871,532 thousand pkm.

At the peak of the autumn season, S7 Airlines passengers chose to spend their vacations on the seaside in Europe. The most sought-after destinations were Burgas, Varna, Nice, Paphos, Larnaca, Rhodes, Tivat, and Barcelona. As is common for the beginning of autumn, the far east routes saw a growth in traffic along domestic routes.

In September, S7 Airlines successfully concluded the “We Are Siberia” initiative aimed at planting 1,000,000 trees in Siberian regions to replace the forest ranges lost in summer fires. The first trees were planted with the help of volunteers from the multi-regional ecological organization “ECA” and employees of S7 Airlines in the Novosibirsk region.
