Progress MS-09 was normally de-orbited and submerged into the Pacific Ocean

On January 25 at 15:55 cargo transport vehicle (CTV) Progress MS-09 having performed its mission undocked from the International Space Station Russian Segment.

In compliance with calculations of the Mission Control Center specialists at 19:08 Moscow time the main engine of the cargo vehicle was fired for braking, after which the vehicle was de-orbited.

The fall of noncombustible structural elements of the vehicle occurred at 19:50 Moscow time in the given area of the innavigable part of the Pacific Ocean.

It was CTV Progress MS-09 which for the first time in history arrived at the Station 3 hours 40 min after the launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome and had been within the orbital station since July 10, 2018.
