Earlier the Il-76 military transport aircraft, a heavy TM-10 tracked bulldozer had been delivered to the Ukrainka airfield to clear the dam in the Bureysky reservoir.
From the airfield of Ukrainka the Mi-26 army aviation helicopter delivered this heavy tracked bulldozer weighing about 20 tons to the area of work to restore the normal hydrological regime of the Bureysky reservoir .
The helicopter was fueled only for a one-way trip to ensure that the maximum take-off weight of the Mi-26 helicopter together with the bulldozer does not exceed the maximum allowable.
Afterwards the Mi-26 helicopter was refueled on the way back by an aviation tanker.
Engineers laid 10-tons of concentrated charges into the prepared pits in the area of the collapse of the reservoir.
More than 33 tons of engineering ammunition and about 5 tons of material resources were transported by helicopters Mi-8 and Mi-26 of army aviation to the area of the field camp on the Bureya reservoir.
In total, more than 471 people, 33 pieces of military and special equipment, including six helicopters of army aviation and Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle are involved in the implementation of tasks.
