Rossiya Airlines, which is a part of Aeroflot Group, received a status of the official carrier of the 1st Children of Asia Winter International Sports Games, which will be conducted from 9 until 16 of February of 2019 in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. Wide-bodied Boeing 777-300ER liners will transport participants and organizers from Moscow to the Far East

The 1st Children of Asia Winter International Sports Games are held in order to spread the ideas of the Olympic movement, develop youth sports and strengthen international athletic cooperation in accordance with the Concept of the Games approved by the International Committee of Children of Asia. The first winter games will be conducted with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, Olympic Council of Asia, Olympic Council of Russia, the Russian Ministry of Sports and Sakhalin Oblast Government. Participants will determine the strongest ones in such sports as figure skating, hockey, short track, skiing, snowboarding, biathlon, cross-country skiing and ski jumping.
Rossiya Airlines pays the highest attention to support of national sportsmen. Since July 2014, Rossiya is a partner and the official carrier of FC Zenit, and a legendary Airbus A319 with the onboard number VQ-BAS – Zenitolet – is the first aircraft decorated in colors of a Russian football club.
