The first flight from Zhukovskiy airport to the capital of Kazakhstan, Almaty and return from Almaty to Zhukovskiy was operated on December 24 2018.

Ceremonial events were held right both before the departure from Zhukovskiy and Almaty. A present surprise, namely welcome meeting and tea with a cake, was offered to all departing passengers lying to the major city of Kazakhstan. The first check-in passenger received a memorable gift from the airport.

Direct flight from Zhukovskiy to Almaty will operate on every day basis. Starting from January 15 it will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
