Forward air controllers have embarked on training at the Russian military base stationed in Armenia. They train to guide tactical and army aviation onto targets.

During the exercises they meet the standards for data onboard transmission to MiG-29 fighter jets, MiG-24P training airplanes and Mi-8MTSh.

Forward air controllers train to guide fighters and helicopters onto low-flying aircraft, armored vehicles and mock adversary's manpower, indicating the course on landmarks and coordinates.

In total, more than 100 military personnel take part in practical field exercises, which will last for a month, involving about 50 military units, including aviation equipment.
