Sheremetyevo will announce flight information in accordance with The Federal Law on Personal Data

Sheremetyevo International Airport informs about changes in the passengers announcement system due to the requirements of The Federal Law No. 152-FZ of July 27, 2006 «On Personal Data» (Article 3, Article 6). The broadcasters of Sheremetyevo Information Service from now one will broadcast a general audio announcement inviting all passengers running late for the particular flight to proceed to boarding immediately at the given gate, but will not specify the names of the passengers within the announcement.

The changes concern passengers of all categories, travelling any class with any airline flying from Sheremetyevo International Airport.

Sheremetyevo recommends passengers to arrive at the airport in advance, as well as to check the status of the flight, departure time and gate, using various information channels of the airport and airlines. Sheremetyevo reinforces that the boarding ends 20 minutes before the time of departure. The airport and the airlines strictly adhere to this rule.
