In accordance with combat training plan, the frigate Admiral Grigorovich being on mission as part of Russian Naval force grouping in the Mediterranean Sea held a number of trainings jointly with shipborne helicopter crew.

In particular, pilots of the naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet, in cooperation with the crew of the frigate, practised shipborne take-offs and landings on the deck of the ship, conducted training to find and track the submarine, and also to search for people who were out of the ship. Ship crews held trainings to check air control systems of the vessel ensuring helicopter flights.
