MiG-31BM fighter jets evade strike of mock enemy during Vostok 2018 maneuvers

The fighter aviation units of the CMD in the Krasnoyarsk and Perm regions were relocated to operational airfields for evation from the strike of the mock enemy within the Vostok 2018 maneuvers.

Crews of MiG-31BM relocated to operational airfields and practiced the tasks of increasing the on-duty air defenсe forces, withdrawal of aviation equipment from the strike of the mock enemy and covering airspace from missile strikes.

The Vostok 2018 maneuvers have kicked off in the territory of the Far East and Pacific Ocean water zones on September 11-17 in accordance with the Russian Armed Forces under the leadership of the General of the Army Sergei Shoigu. .
