Air defence units equiped with S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems, and the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and gun systems finished relocation to the new positions

After the technical maintenance of the equipment, the combat crews of the anti-aircraft missile and radio-technical units have taken on combat duty.

During the exercise, air defence units will perform tasks of repelling an air attack of a mock enemy. Standby air and air defence forces will intercept aerial targets that simulate cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles and mock enemy aircraft.

The Vostok 2018 maneuvers have kicked off in the territory of the Far East and Pacific Ocean water zones on September 11-17 in accordance with the Russian Armed Forces under the leadership of the General of the Army Sergei Shoigu.
