The Su-24M front-line bombers and Su-30SM multi-purpose fighters of the Baltic Fleets Naval Aviation are carrying out scheduled training flights with air refuelling over the Kaliningrad Region.
The Il-78 air refueller is involved as an air tanker. It is capable of filling up to ten airplanes for one flight. In total, over 10 flying crews from the BF Naval Aviation’s air base are involved in practising this element.
