The participants of the international competition Airborne platoon have done the first airdrop with a parachute of Russian production

The militaries from Algeria, Sudan, Pakistan, Iran, Venezuela and South Africa within the preparing for the first part of the competition Airborne assault of the International Military Games have done the first airdrop with Russian parachute systems D-6.

There was a helicopter section Mi-8 employed for the airdrop that was held from 600-metres-height to an unknown landing point – Kislovo range (Pskov region).

In total there are paratroopers from 10 countries of East Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and South America that are going to take part in the competition. It will be held at three ranges of the Pskov Airborne Assault Division on the period from the 28 of July until the 9 of August.
