In the first six months of 2018, Rossiya Airlines, Aeroflot, S7 Airlines, Pobeda and Ural Airlines were the largest Russian carriers in terms of passenger numbers at Pulkovo. In total, they provided services to 4,725,570 passengers at St. Petersburg Airport or 59.4% of the total traffic for that period.
Among foreign airlines, Lufthansa, Belavia, Uzbekistan Airways, Emirates, and KLM became the leaders at St. Petersburg Airport for the 6-month period of 2018. In total, they handled 587,084 passengers at Pulkovo or 7.4% of the total airport traffic.

In June 2018, 1,915,565 passengers traveled through Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport, a number 12.7% higher than in the same month of 2017. Domestic traffic increased by 7.7% to 1,033,316 passengers compared to the same period of 2017. International traffic grew by 19.1% year-on-year and amounted to 882,249 passengers.
In June 2018, Pulkovo Airport handled 16,064 take-off and landing operations, which is an increase of 6.9% to the level of June 2017. The maximum take-off weight handled amounted to 611,350 tons, a figure 10.7% higher than in the same period of 2017.
