The crews of the Su-25 of Kant Russian air base in the Kyrgyz Republic practiced strikes on the defences of the conditional enemy during the flight and tactical exercises at the Edelweiss range.

S-13 unguided air-to-surface missiles were used to hit targets, simulating ground objects.

In total, the pilots fired about 50 missiles.

The joint Russian air base Kant is part of the Сollective Rapid Deployment Force and is involved in ensuring the security of the airspace of the states of Collective Security Treaty Organization.

Su-25 and Mi-8 helicopters are in service.
