RSC Energia specialists at the Baikonur launch site have successfully completed operations to fill a cargo transportation spacecraft Progress MS-09 with propellant components and compressed gases at the filling station.
After the filling the spacecraft was brought into the spacecraft processing facility and installed into a jig for conducting final processing operations.
According to pre-launch processing schedule, the mating of the spacecraft with the adapter section is slated for Tuesday, July 3.
The launch of the cargo spacecraft Progress MS-09 on the launch vehicle Soyuz-2.1a from Area 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome is scheduled for July 10, 2018. The mission objective: to deliver to ISS propellant, food, water and other cargoes that are needed to support the operation of the space station in manned mode.
