Utair sold 77% of tickets for the dates of the World Cup matches

By June 25, Utair sold 77% of all tickets for the dates of championship matches. Passengers bought 71,600 tickets out of 80,000 available, including 609 business class tickets. Utair flies to most of the cities hosting the World Cup: Volgograd, Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Samara, St. Petersburg, and Sochi.

Most of the tickets were bought for direct flights to Moscow – 87%; 81% of available tickets were sold for the dates of matches held in Kaliningrad, and 79% – for the flights to Rostov-on-Don.

“The championship has created an atmosphere of euphoria and a real festival in the Russian cities; it has united fans and greatly increased the number of football enthusiasts. Tourists fr om all over the world travel by Utair airplanes every day to attend the matches and to discover new corners of Russia. Utair congratulates the Russian national team on its entry to the 1/8 finals and invites fans to visit the most entertaining final matches of the Mundial”, said Pavel Permyakov, President of Utair – Passenger Airlines.
