Today, pursuant to combat training plan, the major ASW ship Admiral Panteleyev of the Pacific Fleet performed joint drills with the shipborne air group in the Sea of Japan.

During the event, two Ka-27PL deck ASW helicopters scrambled from the PF Naval Aviation Base Nikolayevka and reached the board of the vessel. In the training zone, the ASW seamen together with the aviation group worked out the tasks on controlling the ship during sorties of the deck aviation. In total, helicopters carried out more than 10 sorties by the major ASW ship.

Also, the Ka-27 ASW helicopters conducted their special trainings and joint drills with the ship to search and track the simulated enemy’s submarine.
