Pulkovo St. Petersburg Airport has received European aviation industry recognition for exceptional marketing services at the Routes Europe forum in Bilbao, Spain, that took place on April 22-24, 2018. St. Petersburg airport became the laureate of the “Highly Commended” award in the category of airports with the annual traffic of 4-20 million passengers.

The Routes Europe 2018 Marketing Awards recognize airports and tourism authorities for their outstanding marketing services, supporting airlines in the launch of new routes or the strengthening of existing services. The awards are voted for and judged by senior airline network planning executives. In 2018, following a competitive voting process, 17 airports and six tourism destinations had been named finalists.
