New Terminal B at Sheremetyevo International Airport welcomed the first flight

Underground interterminal passage that connects remote terminals D,E,F to terminal B has served the first passengers.

Aeroflot began step-by-step transfer of it’s flights to a new terminal

May 03, 2018, the first flight from new Terminal B at Sheremetyevo International Airport took place.

The passengers of Aeroflot became the first who has departed from the new Terminal B exactly according to schedule at 09: 55 flight SU1360 to Saratov. The schedule of flight transfer to a new terminal is published on website of Aeroflot.

New passenger Terminal B was created for domestic flights within the preparation program for FIFA-2018 World Cup. The capacity of a new terminal is 20 million passengers per annum, and it covers an area of 110500 sq. m.

Interterminal underground (under the airfield) passage with passenger and luggage tunnels was also put into operation. Passengers, including transfer passengers, are offered to use a new free transport service between remote terminals of Sheremetyevo: it will take only 4 minutes between "Sheremetyevo-1"(terminal B) and "Sheremetyevo-2“(terminals D, E, F), including the waiting time.

Shops, cafes, pharmacies and ATMs are opened in the new terminal. There is a large Duty Paid zone which covers an area of 2600 sq. m. The significant part of Duty Paid zone is a shopping gallery, organized based on the concept of WalkThrough. Passengers moving through the open gallery space can choose and purchase the products of various categories and brands: perfumes and cosmetics, clothes and accessories, confectionery and much more. Catering areas occupy about 4,800 sq. m., with 3,100 sq. m. in clear zone. The food court in terminal B covers an area of more than 1.1 thousand sq. m.

There are two business lounges in terminal B: “Kandinskiy” and “Rublev” that covers more than 4000 sq.m. and designed for 700 visitors.

There is a VIP lounge which occupies 1700 sq.m. and it can receive 120 guests.

For passengers with disabilities there is a “Mercury” lounge which covers 120 sq.m. and can receive 20 passengers.

During the 2018 World Cup, special fun-zones broadcasting the matches will be organized in Terminal B.
