Russia will deliver about 20 Ka-52 combat helicopters to Egypt in May 2018

Russia will supply about 20 Ka-52 Alligator reconnaissance-strike helicopters to Egypt by the end of the month, an informed source told Interfax.

"Until May 30, the next batch of Ka-52 of 18-22 helicopters will be delivered to the Egyptian side," the source said.

He noted that in 2017 a party of 15 helicopters was supplied to Egypt, in total under the contract, it is necessary to deliver 46 Alligators.

Earlier, the head of the Russian Helicopters Holding Andrey Boginsky said that the company will produce about 25 Ka-52 Alligators in 2018, six of them are intended for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the rest - for export.
