RSC Energia specialists working in the spacecraft processing facility at Baikonur launch site have completed designer’s inspection of the crew transportation spacecraft Soyuz MS-09 and performed processing operations to roll on the payload fairing of the launch vehicle Soyuz-FG.
According to the spacecraft pre-launch processing schedule on Thursday, May 31, there will be a ‘second fit-check’, when the main and the backup crews will perform a check of the spacecraft in its launch configuration.
The launch of the Soyuz MS-09 on the launch vehicle Soyuz-FG is scheduled for June 6, 2018 at 14:12:41 Moscow Time from Area No.1 (“Gagarin’s launch pad”) of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
The ISS-56/57 prime crew consists of ROSKOSMOS cosmonaut Sergey PROKOPIEV, ESA astronaut Alexander GERST and NASA astronaut Serena AUNON-CHANCELLOR. Their backup crewmembers are ROSKOSMOS cosmonaut Oleg KONONENKO, CSA astronaut David SAINT-JACQUES and NASA astronaut Anne McCLAIN.
