Kazan international airport handled 1 000 000 passengers one month earlier

Since the beginning of the year, Kazan international airport handled 1 000 000 passengers.

In comparison with the previous extremely effective year, passenger traffic indicators have been achieved earlier 1 month this time.

The growth of performance indicators is recorded for majority of destinations.

Kazan airport built up domestic passenger traffic by 25 %.

As for international flights, passenger traffic went up to 52%. Among the most popular routes: Dubai (+130%), Baku (+132%), Phuket (+71%), Istanbul (+51%), Antalya (+39%), and others.

The flights to Antalya (65 572 pass.) and Dubai (53 544 pass.) are in the highest demand. In total, Kazan international airport handled 32% more passengers from January this year than in the same period previous year.
