Air crews from the Russian Aerospace Forces, four military districts, the Northern Fleet, involved in the Aviadarts all-army competition, are redeploying from home stations to the Dyagilevo airfield near Ryazan.
The pilots will operate the MiG-29SMT, Su-27SM3, Su-30SM, Su-35, Su-34, Su-24M, Su-25, Tu-22M3, Il-76MD and Mi-24, Mi- 35, Ka-52, Mi-8. In total, 60 crews of fighter, bomber, assault, army, long-distance and military transport aviation will take part in the competition.
Pilots will compete in physical training, air reconnaissance, pilotage, fighting against ground targets, overwhelming hostile air defence systems and elements of dogfight.
Results are to be summed up in seven categories for each branch of aviation.
Competitions are to take place from May 23 till June 2, with practical part at the Dubrovichi training ground, Ryazan region.
