State Transport Leasing Company (STLC) filed two lawsuits in the Moscow Arbitration Court against IrAero, totaling 755 mln rubles ($12 mln). The reasoning for the lawsuits was not disclosed, however a previous lawsuit suggests it is related to lease payments.

The Court is already considering a lawsuit submitted in January against IrAero, in the amount of 282,55 mln rubles ($4.5 mln), in relation to a partial debt from lease payments on Superjet 100 aircraft leased from STLC.

IrAero filed a counterclaim in regards to the initial lawsuit, seeking 368,2 mln rubles ($5.2 mln). The preliminary hearing is set for 31 May 2018.

IrAero leased eight Superjet 100 from STLC in 2016-17, four new and four used.
