Aerospace Forces aerobatic teams to hold unique air show devoted to 80th anniversary of Aviation Equipment Display Centre

On 12 May, the Kubinka airfield near Moscow will host celebrations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Aviation Equipment Display Centre named after I.N. Kozhedub.

The festive events are to involve a unique 2-hour air show. Among its participants are the Aerospace Force’s four aerobatic teams – Russian Knights on Su-30SM fighters, Swifts on MiG-29 fighters, Russian Falcons on Su-30SM fighters, Golden Eagles on Mi-28N attack helicopters.

Pilots of aerobatic teams will demonstrate group and single pilotage.

The Russian Falcons will show the close manoeuvrable dogfight “pair against pair”.

The audience will be able to see the most spectacular figures, such as the group ‘Nesterov Loop’, synchronous ‘Barrels’, pair ‘Bell’, ‘Mirror’, ‘Box’, ‘Ear’, ‘Hill’, break-ups ‘Fountain’, ‘Tulip’ and a lot of others.
