S7 Airlines, a oneworld® global airline alliance member, commences flights from Moscow to Gomel starting 1 June 2018. Tickets for the new flight are available now.
Flights will be performed on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Flights will depart from Domodedovo Airport at 09:55 and arrive at Gomel Airport at 11:20. Return flights will depart from Gomel at 12:05 and arrive in Moscow at 13:35. The flights will be carried out on modern and comfortable Embraer 170 aircraft.
“S7 Airlines will become the first Russian airline to operate scheduled flights between Moscow and Gomel. Passengers from Belarus who often visit friends and relatives or work in Russia will appreciate the comfort of the air travel. They will be able to plan trips to St. Petersburg, Sochi, Tyumen, Irkutsk and dozens of other cities with convenient transfers at Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Besides, CIS cities, such as Baku, Yerevan or Khojend, which are popular with travellers, will be only within a few hours’ flight,” notes Igor Veretennikov, the Commerce Director of S7 Group.
Gomel is the second most populated city in Belarus. The city has preserved a unique cultural monument — the Old Believer church of the 18th century — which has survived several epochs: Tsar and Soviet government, as well as the attack of fascist troops during the Great Patriotic War.
