Tactical group of Il-38 anti-submarine aircraft redeployed at one of the airfields in Primorye in course of the flight-tactical drills of the Navy aviation units of the Pacific Fleet on the Kamchatka.

While performing combat training tasks over the waters of the Sea of Japan, the crews of the aircraft practised searching for and tracking a submarine of the mock enemy with the use of hydroacoustic search means. After establishing contact with the submarine of the mock enemy, anti-submarine aircraft attacked it, and launched bombs at the assigned coordinates.

After performing tasks, the aircraft returned to the permanent location.
