UAC not to demonstrate civil aircraft at Farnborough airshow

United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) this year does not plan to demonstrate civil aircraft at the British Farnborough airshow, said first vice president of the corporation Alexander Tulyakov. This is written by Interfax.

"There will be only a chalet -  The exposition there will not be," Tulyakov said, answering the journalists' question. "We do not even show models on Farnborough," he added.

Farnborough air show will be held from 16 to 22 July. Earlier it was reported that the organizers of the airshow - Society of British Aerospace Companies - banned Russia to exhibit military products this year.

In 2014 and in 2016 years Russia also encountered difficulties with participation in Farnborough. Three years ago, the Russian delegation could not get to the UK because of refusal of visas, in 2016 Rostec and a number of other corporations, because of sanctions, brought only civil products to the exhibition.

Earlier, Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov announced the possibility of Russia's minimum participation in the Farnborough airshow. Rostec announced a possible refusal to participate in the Farnborough airshow.
