Pacific Fleet Naval Aviation’s Ka-27 deck helicopters practised the standard tasks over the Sea of ??Japan.

In the Peter the Great Gulf, two ASW Ka-27 helicopters conducted drills on searching, detecting and classifying the simulated enemy’s submarine, as well as tracking using various hydro-acoustic means.

Meanwhile, another two Ka-27PS helicopters improved their search-and-rescue skills at sea.

This week, the army aviation pilots will conduct trainings at sea in cooperation with the PF Primorye All-Arms Flotilla’s ships.
