Several presidential IL-96-300 will receive new russian navigation equipment by year-end

On several IL-96-300 aircraft belonging to the Special Flight Detachment «Russia» the navigation equipment of foreign production will be replaced with modern domestic analogues by the end of 2018.

"All IL-96-300 Special Flight Detachment «Russia» will be re-equipped before the end of 2019. Currently, the special squad consists of 11 Il-96 aircraft.", is reported by Ilyushin Aviation Compex press-service.

As it was informed earlier, certification ground and flight tests of the new modern Russian equipment, responsible for aircraft navigation and safety, have been successfully completed. Its application will improve the operating conditions of aircraft.
