The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has opened a case against Sheremetyevo Airport on suspicion of creating discriminatory conditions for taxi, the watchdog reports via its Telegram channel on Thursday. This reported by RAPSI.

Sheremetyevo managers are suspected of denial of access for taxi cabs to the so-called first row, the traffic line on the airport’s territory closest to the terminal, the statement reads.

This is the second antimonopoly case over taxi discrimination in airports. Earlier, a similar case was launched against Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport.

In December 2017, FAS issued warnings to Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo airports ordering them to remedy revealed violations and increase the number of taxi companies having access to the first row.
