Near Novorossiysk, a scheduled tactical battalion drills have started under the leadership of the Airborne Troops Commander Major General Roman Breus.
The event's main objective is the improvement of skills and coordination of airborne units.
During the drills, the paratroopers will perform the offensive and defensive actions operating Strelets reconnaissance, control and communication systems, and electronic warfare means.
More than 500 servicemen, about 50 pieces of military and special hardware will take part in the drills.
