An Emergency Ministry’s Sukhoi Superjet 100 has taken off from Vnukovo airport to carry out medical evacuation of four seriously ill people, including 2 children from Grozny to Nizhny Novgorod.
The flying hospital is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules, ventilators and cardiac monitors allowing providing medical care aboard.
During the flight the patients re going to be accompanied by medical specialists of the Emergency Ministry’s State Central Airmobile Rescue Team (Tsentrospas), of the Healthcare Ministry’s All-Russian Disaster Medicine Center Zashchita and a psychologis of the Emergency Ministry’s Center for Emergency Psychological Aid.
Once in Nizhny Novgorod, the patients are going to be delivered to the Healthcare Ministry’s Volga Area Medical Research University.
