Over 20 crews of short-range bombers, Western Military District, in the Voronezh region, have undergone training on an interactive aircraft simulator for long-haul flights.

Having studied the theory, the crews took a specialized course on ground simulators and performed flights on Su-34 bombers in a circle, along the route and into the zone.

Pilots can train using the simulator in order to practise in-flight refuelling in simple and difficult weather conditions.

In course of intensive training with the simulator, the flight crews successfully completed long-haul flights using Su-34 short-range bombers from airfields in the Western Military District to the airfields of the Eastern Military District.
