Within the combat training plan, the Pacific Fleet Naval Air force has started group flights with complex flight missions in Kamchatka.
The MiG-31 fighters from an air regiment are involved in training flights.
The main purpose of practical drills is to increase the combat readiness and effectiveness of jet fighters in assigned tasks.
Pilots are practising pilotage techniques, take-offs, landings, navigation in pairs and in interaction with the flight control group. Tasks are carried out by day and at night in different weather conditions.
In total, some ten crews are involved in the training flights.
