Over the past two years, the Airborne Forces carried out a large number of reconnaissance missions to search for new landing sites for mass parachute assaults.

By February 2018, the Airborne Troops Command has already got in this country more than 50 landing sites for parachute assaults, with about 20 of them, including for research purposes, recently examined by specialists.

Currently, airborne troops are intensifying training and perform at least 2,500 parachute jumps per day.

Mass landing of airborne troops is performed on sites located in the territories of 12 Russia subjects from An-2, IL-76 aircraft and MI-8 helicopters of the Military Transport Aviation of Russia.

Training jumps with D-10 parachute systems and special Arbalet parachute systems are planned and carried out amid a single tactical situation.
